Welcome to the music ministry of St. Peter Catholic Church.

We seek to enrich the Mass through beautiful song and encourage ‘full and active’ participation in the liturgy.  We have many ensembles at the parish and are always welcoming newly interested persons.  Join us and give your song to the Lord.

11:00 Ensemble:

Featuring a variety of instruments, this group favors contemporary arrangements of classic hymns as well as new liturgical songs. Come make a joyful noise with this spirited ensemble.

Cantors:

Do you have experience singing?  Consider leading our congregation in song in this important ministry.

Handbell Choir:

There is nothing like Christmas and Easter time with the echoes of Handbells in the air.  This special choir helps these special times of the liturgical year a bit more beautiful.

Instrumentalists:

St. Peter’s is always in need of people who can play a musical instrument at a level of ability that would inspire prayerful reflection and serve as accompaniment to the various choirs or cantors. A cello, guitar, trumpet or any instrument could add greatly to add to a musical arrangement.

St. Peter Adult Choir:

This traditional choir of 16-24 singers meets from September through May and sings at most special feasts days and solemnities.  Rehearsals are Thursdays at 6pm and open to high school students through adults. No formal audition is necessary, just a strong work ethic and heart to serve.

Youth Choir:

Open to grades 3 through high school.  This group introduces young singers to liturgical song and teaches them how to pray through song.  Grow in your child the gift of singing for the Lord and share their voice with us.
